Litigation Paralegal


Our client, a leading litigation firm is looking for a 3 plus years primarily remote litigation paralegal to become a part of their legal team based in Greenwood Village, Colorado. With a focus on Civil Litigation, this role entails providing crucial support to attorneys and clients throughout all stages of active cases, as well as managing document workflows. Responsibilities would include; Conducting comprehensive research, support court filings, and manage case calendars, Conducting extensive statutory, regulatory, and factual research, including in-depth analysis of federal and state laws, Managing document discovery workflows to ensure the efficient tracking and organization of produced and received materials, Supporting the preparation of court filings by verifying citations, proofreading documents, and assembling necessary exhibits and appendices, Collaborating closely with attorneys and clients throughout all stages of active cases, providing crucial support and coordination, Overseeing case calendars and managing deadlines, including complaint service and discovery response timelines, to ensure attorneys are promptly informed of all critical dates, Offering trial support, including creating demonstrative aids and providing in-court assistance with presentations and logistics, Utilizing various skills such as Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS), Case Management Software, CompuLaw, and others in the execution of duties, Handling briefing, calendar management, claim administration, and communication tasks, Applying expertise in Civil Cases, Civil Law, Civil Litigation, Civil Litigation Experience, Civil Procedure, Civil Rights Litigation, and other related areas, Managing e-Filing, court filing, court proceedings, and courtroom experience tasks, Collaborating with courts at federal and appellate levels. The paralegal would possess 3 plus years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal. The Litigation Paralegal should be proficient in e-filing and court filing. The firm offers an excellent pay and benefits. Once you get up to speed, this could be a primarily remote position, but you have to reside in the state of Colorado. • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience as a Paralegal.
• Proficient in using Aderant, Adobe Acrobat, and Automated City Register Information System (ACRIS).
• Experienced in using Case Management Software and CompuLaw.
• Ability to perform billing functions and briefing tasks accurately.
• Demonstrable experience in calendar management and claim administration.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Specialized experience as a Litigation Paralegal, dealing with civil cases.
• Knowledge of civil law, civil litigation, civil litigation experience, civil procedure, and civil rights litigation.
• Familiar with court proceedings and have courtroom experience.
• Knowledgeable about federal courts and appellate courts.
• Proficient in e-filing and court filing.
• Experience in managing civil rights issues.
• Ability to handle heavy civil workloads.
• Must have a good understanding of civil rights litigation.
• Knowledge of and experience in civil law and civil litigation processes.
• Capable of handling heavy civil caseloads and civil rights issues.
• Proficiency in e-filing, court filing, and managing court proceedings.
• Courtroom experience and familiarity with federal and appellate courts is a must.
