Salary: $67k to $75k Travel Requirement: Approximately 15%

Why This Role?
The Verdin Company, a leader in crafting timeless bells and clocks for over 180 years, is seeking a Technical Trainer to guide and grow our field service team. This is your chance to become an expert in our unique products and share your expertise with technicians across the country.

The successful candidate will complete an intensive months-long training program with our senior engineers and product experts to develop a mastery of our broad range of bell ringing and clock products. The objective is to obtain a deep, comprehensive knowledge of our products that can be used to provide training and ongoing support for our team of field service technicians.

What You’ll Do:

  • Create Impactful Training Programs: Design and deliver training sessions for our field service team, focusing on the installation, repair, and maintenance of mechanical and electrical equipment.
  • Hands-On Training: Conduct in-depth, practical training to ensure both new and seasoned technicians can confidently work with our products.
  • Real-Time Problem Solver: Provide live technical support and troubleshooting guidance to technicians and occasionally customers.
  • Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep training materials updated with the latest product advancements and service techniques.
  • Collaborate for Excellence: Work closely with engineering and production teams to incorporate new developments into training methods.

What Makes You a Great Fit?

  • Experience: At least 5 years in field service or a similar role involving mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Training Expertise: Proven ability to develop and deliver hands-on and instructional training.
  • Tech Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with experience in learning management systems being a plus.
