Job Description

We are looking for Cleanroom Technicians to work in our Troy facility. This position involves performing assembly on parts, conducting quality inspections, and ensuring parts are defect-free before continuing the process.

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety requirements
• Perform assembly on parts and quality inspection on in-process and finished products
• Ensure parts are 100% defect-free before continuing the process
• Maintain records of production and scrap figures
• Maintain equipment and keep the work area clean and orderly
• Follow and support company policies, procedures, and work instructions
• Have the ability to stop the process in the event of nonconformity
• Work within a team environment

Essential Skills

• 1 year of manufacturing/assembly experience
• High attention to detail
• Quality and pride in their work
• No bad finishes in system or reasons for leaving past employers
• Ability to lift, bend, and stretch throughout the entire shift
• Steel toe shoes/boots

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Hand and power tool experience
• Inspection/material handling experience

Why Work Here?

We offer direct employment after 90 days, with a new pay increase effective January 15th and yearly pay reviews. Work Environment

This position operates in a cleanroom environment within a 150,000 sq foot facility that has been recently remodeled. Safety and cleanliness are paramount in this department. The facility includes 244 Fanuc Robots, Sub Assembly Cells, Flex Cells, Stand Alone Cells, Weld Robots, and Dispensing Robots. It is a non-union plant with no cell phones allowed on the floor. The plastics side operates on a JIT (Just In Time) basis, while the metals side does not. The standard schedule is 1st shift from 6am - 2:30 pm, with the possibility of extended hours and some Saturdays.
