Who We Are

Established in the North Scottsdale Foothills, Pima North Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care for cats and dogs. Our practice also provides professional grooming services and offers luxury boarding to allow pets to live long, healthy, and fulfilling lives. Our hospital proudly maintains American Animal Hospital Association Accreditation and Feline Friendly status.

We provide quality diagnostics to our clients through our team’s extensive medical experience along with the use of our in-house laboratory, radiology and ultrasound. We have a complete surgical suite with complex multi-modal monitoring systems, laser technology, endoscopy, electrocautery and the safest inhalant anesthetic offered. Our medical team holds high medical standards and strives to practice exceptional care. We have a skilled team of veterinary technicians and assistants dedicated to helping provide quality care and compassion.

At Pima North Animal Hospital, our vision is "Within our community and team we hope to provide a professional, compassionate, and informative environment where our clients and their pets feel at home.”

What We Offer

At Pima North, we provide reasonable schedules to allow for a good work-life balance. Doctors work a 4-day work week with hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and rotating every third Saturday from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Our practice is closed on Sundays and all major holidays.

We offer extensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with employer match, paid time off (including sick time), uniform allowance, continuing education opportunities, and discounts on veterinary and boarding services and retail products. Allowances are provided for dues, fees, and continuing education to allow for your growth and development.

If you are looking for an inclusive and collaborative culture, an environment in which you can develop and thrive within your career, and a space where you can impact the quality of care, then apply to one of Scottsdale’s premier clinics and help us make a difference

Company DescriptionNVA was founded in 1996 by Stanley Creighton, DVM, with an emphasis on supporting local medical standards as established by individual hospitals and practitioners. He believed that veterinary medicine is best practiced when veterinarians craft their own hospital and community specific strategies for high quality patient care and client services.

The vision continues at NVA as we make available the tools and resources for hospitals to achieve their medical goals while avoiding any single standardized national plan that might not be the best fit for an individual hospital. The variety of tools and resources we provide include emerging research and care standards, access to our national medical database, human resource guidance, marketing support, recruiting assistance, tax preparation, and training and education for staff. Managing veterinarians decide what level of medicine they would like their hospital to achieve, and NVA provides the support to get them there.
