Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a travel assignment in Dallas, TX. This position offers the opportunity to work four 10-hour days, providing critical support in a fast-paced IR environment. The technologist will be responsible for assisting with a variety of interventional procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging, and maintaining patient safety throughout the process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain interventional radiology equipment and imaging systems.
  • Assist physicians with interventional procedures, including angiography, stent placements, biopsies, and more.
  • Ensure high-quality imaging for accurate diagnosis and treatment.
  • Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols.
  • Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide optimal patient care and procedural efficiency.
  • Document all procedures and maintain accurate patient records.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiology Technology program.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist.
  • Active Texas MRT License required.
  • ARRT (R) certification required; ARRT (VI) or (CI) preferred.
  • BLS (AHA only) certification required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Previous travel experience is a plus.
  • Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
  • 50-mile radius rule applies; locals are not accepted.
