Job DescriptionJob DescriptionWe are seeking a Mailroom Associate to join our team in Columbus, Ohio. In this role, you will be expected to handle tasks related to sorting and reviewing utility invoices, maintaining department procedures, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This opportunity offers short term contract employment.

Responsibilities:
• Efficiently and accurately extract mail from envelopes and sort invoices, checks, and other mail inserts.
• Utilize multiple separator sheets to organize utility bills before scanning.
• Conduct manual reviews of utility invoices to ensure they adhere to both customer and department procedures.
• Isolate and forward non-compliant bills to the lead for review, using the standard reject form.
• Operate in a fast-paced mailroom production line environment while meeting established quotas.
• Stay updated with new or revised client and departmental procedures, discarding old procedures, and filing updates as received.
• Troubleshoot minor issues on the mail opening machine.
• Proactively identify problems and suggest potential solutions to the lead or supervisor.
• Maintain a detail-oriented and tidy appearance of the work area at all times.
• Willingly work overtime as directed by management to ensure timely completion of all accounts.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.• Proficiency in Customer Service, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge and adherence to Procedures, ensuring smooth operations in the mailroom
• Ability to handle Invoice Review, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
• Experience in Supervising teams, providing guidance and support as needed
• Understanding of Production processes and Check Processing, ensuring efficiency in operations
• Capability to Troubleshoot issues, providing prompt and effective solutions
• Proficiency in Spreadsheets, demonstrating strong data management skills
• Excellent Time Management skills, prioritizing tasks as per urgency and importance
• Ensure Compliance with regulatory standards and company policies
• Willingness to work Overtime, demonstrating flexibility as per business needs
• Ability to efficiently Sort Incoming Mail, ensuring timely distribution
• Prior experience in a Mailroom, demonstrating familiarity with the role and responsibilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced Production Environment, maintaining high levels of efficiency
• Understanding of Department Procedures, ensuring smooth functioning of operations
• Knowledge of ARM, demonstrating technical proficiency
• Experience in QA Management, ensuring quality standards are maintained consistently.
