Must-haves

  • At least 2 years’ experience working in a data center, troubleshooting any issues and able to navigate their way around a DC, supporting IT equipment. Overall strong infrastructure background
  • Performs post-execution quality checks and verifies that grounding, staging, labeling, and cabling are set up properly according to safety protocols, deployment standards, and planned Network Design Tasks (NDTs).
  • Some exposure with Logistic Warehouse Support (Sending and Receiving)
  • Inventory and Asset Management Experience

Day-to-Day

Insight Global is looking for Data Center Technicians to sit local to Austin. These candidates will be responsible performing assigned Logistics/Warehouse Support tasks and escalates issues during high-volume work activity or escalation-based situations. Candidate will also be responsible helping install and maintain data servers and network equipment. There will also be data entry to document inbound and outbound packages. Executes incoming/outgoing deliveries as instructed by management (e.g. purchase order [PO] receiving, Rack Movement Supervisor [RMS] activities). This candidate Ensures accurate documentation of incoming and outgoing deliveries as well as records, perform cycle audits and data corrections to ensure all inventory controls are met, and ensures detailed physical inventory tracking and staging.
