We are in search of a Senior IPS Business Analyst to join our team in Nashville, Tennessee. The role is a contract offering, focusing on the Information Protection & Security (IPS) department. The successful candidate will be responsible for strategizing, developing, and executing operational projects, as well as mentoring team members and interacting with leadership staff across the enterprise.


Responsibilities:

• Develop operational strategies in partnership with the Director of Strategic Engagement and senior members of the Strategic Engagement team.

• Lead the development and execution of short/long term operational projects with key stakeholders.

• Coordinate the development of operational work efforts to support department needs.

• Design and develop business cases and other required project documentation.

• Lead the delivery of all project-related deliverables and communications.

• Work independently on large complex projects with minimal guidance.

• Act as a mentor and provide technical and organizational direction to more entry level members of the team.

• Interact with leadership staff across the enterprise to drive results and provide updates on strategic projects and initiatives.

• Develop plans, execute, oversee, and maintain the IPS Strategic Engagement team's processes for supporting IPS strategic initiatives.

• Manage requirements through all phases of work for operational work efforts, including project planning, scheduling, execution, scope/requirements management, and risk management.

• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to provide training and coaching to team members
• Strong documentation skills to maintain detailed records
• Experience in planning processes and scheduling
• Proven ability to manage and execute projects effectively
• Experience in supervising teams and coordinating their activities
• Knowledge of quality assurance methods and best practices
• Familiarity with 'About Time' project management software
• Understanding of 'C-Suite' level business operations
• Experience in conducting external audits
• Leadership skills to guide and motivate teams
• Knowledge of security protocols and procedures
• Ability to perform ad hoc financial analyses as required
• Familiarity with network systems and their management
• Willingness to travel, as needed
• Understanding of business practices and stakeholder management
• Knowledge of various business analysis methods and techniques
• Experience with integration of business systems and processes
• Familiarity with Healthcare.gov and related processes
• Experience in executing business plans and strategies.
