Description:

  • In this position, you will maintain quality standards by approving incoming materials, finished products, and recording the results.

  • Perform independently complex, routine and non-routine laboratory activities including analytical tasks and sample preparation.

  • Testing of incoming material and finished products and approve/reject the product within the time stipulated.

  • Identify and troubleshoot common problems/issues encountered.

  • Keep daily record and appropriate documentation on all laboratory work performed.

  • Independently operate standard equipment's/procedures to the required level.

  • Assure compliance of SHE procedure and proactively contribute to the improvement of lab safety.

  • Independent and efficient use of all internal tools for data collection/recording and administration.

Requirements:

  • Diploma/Degree in Chemistry with at least 1 year of relevant working experience

  • Lab equipment experience

  • Sensory Evaluation Experience

  • LIMS-SAP knowledge.

  • Experience in handling GC & GCMS is preferred.

  • Ability to work independently as well as within a multi-cultural team.

  • Must be willing to work in shifts.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills are a must, as well as a keen attention to detail.

Technical Certification Bonus: Synectics is pleased to award its employees a bonus of up to $500 for an approved professional certification. In determining the bonus amount, Synectics will consider the cost of the test(s) for any certification relating to your current position, achieved during your employment with us. Only one Certification Bonus per calendar year may be awarded per employee. Only current, active employees will be eligible to receive this bonus. It will be awarded 90 days after the Synectics office has received documentation confirming the successful completion of the certification.
