CPC Certification
3 or more years of Medical Coding experience
Familiarity with ICD 9/10, CPT, and HPCPS coding systems
Location: Phoenix, AZ 85032 area
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am - 5pm
Pay rate: $26 - $30 per hour (dependent on incoming experience)
Responsibilities:
Review medical records to assign accurate codes for diagnoses and procedures
Ensure that all codes are compliant with the current coding guidelines and regulations
Verify and ensure the accuracy of patient information, including medical histories and insurance information
Work closely with the billing department to ensure timely and accurate claims submissions, posting charges
collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify medical information as needed
participate in ongoing training and education to stay current on coding guidelines and regulations
Attend onsite monthly meetings
What you bring
CPC Certification
3 or more years of Medical Coding experience
Familiarity with ICD-10, CPT, and HPCPS coding systems
Proficient experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Word
Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task
Ability to work individually and collaboratively, high interpersonal skills
Highly detailed and sense of urgency

Pay Details: $26.00 to $30.00 per hour
