Job Opportunity: Plant Manager (Contract-to-Permanent)


Are you ready to take the next step in your career with the leading safety knives and cutting solutions company? We are seeking a dynamic Plant Manager for a 6-month contract role, with the potential to transition into a full-time Assistant or Co-Plant Manager position.

Plant Manager Position Details
  • Type: 6-month Contract-to-Permanent
  • Timing: Immediate Start
  • Shift: 1st Shift
  • Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000/year (salary)
  • Reporting To: General Manager
Plant Manager Responsibilities
  • Lead and train warehouse staff, recruiting as needed to build a high-performing team.
  • Oversee production schedules and quotas, ensuring inventory accuracy and timely shipments.
  • Collaborate with the purchasing team to manage material and inventory reporting.
  • Authorize and facilitate maintenance and repairs for production equipment.
  • Spend up to 90% of your time on the production floor, driving efficiency and innovation.
Plant Manager Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing management.
  • Strong ERP system knowledge (experience with mobe3 WMS preferred).
  • Extensive warehouse and floor operations experience.
  • A mindset of growth, openness, and eagerness to learn.
