Job Description Job Description

Job Title: QA Technician

Department: Quality Assurance, Plant Operations

Location: Bothell, WA Pay Rate: $47,000-50,000/year

Position Overview

This is a hands-on role in a heavy manufacturing environment—not a clean lab or life sciences setting. The QA Technician II will work directly on the manufacturing floor, ensuring the quality of their own work while handling raw materials and finished products. This role requires physical stamina, comfort working in rough conditions, and a willingness to learn. Expect to get dirty—this is a wrench-turning, hands-on role where you'll be lifting, moving, and working around high-temperature equipment.

Essential Functions

  1. Floor experience is a must—this is an active manufacturing job, not a desk role.

  2. Work in a fast-paced, physical environment, lifting and moving materials all day (anything over 30 lbs is a team lift).

  3. Inspect parts and components during the manufacturing process to ensure they meet specifications.

  4. Assist in the production process by handling materials, performing basic finishing operations, and ensuring work meets quality standards.

  5. Operate or be open to training on forklifts, overhead cranes, and other material-handling equipment.

  6. Work with 400-degree ovens and other high-temperature manufacturing equipment.

  7. Follow established safety and quality processes, ensuring your own work meets quality expectations (direct QA experience is not required).

  8. Maintain proper documentation for quality control and materials tracking.

  9. Work alongside a team to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.

Minimum Qualifications

  1. Manufacturing experience is required—must be comfortable working with tools, getting greasy, and handling industrial equipment.

  2. Able to lift and move materials all day (team lifts for anything over 30 lbs).

  3. Comfortable learning new processes and working in a physically demanding role.

  4. Strong work ethic and accountability—responsible for the quality of your own work.

  5. Must be comfortable working around high heat (400-degree ovens).

Preferred Qualifications

  1. Experience with OEM suppliers or industrial manufacturing.

  2. Forklift and overhead crane certification (or willingness to obtain).

  3. Experience with industrial tools such as micrometers, calipers, or gauges is helpful but not required.

  4. Familiarity with material handling and safety procedures. Work Environment

  • This is not a clean lab setting—expect rough working conditions, grease, and heavy lifting.

  • Must wear proper PPE and be comfortable in an industrial manufacturing environment.

  • Work involves standing, moving, lifting, and handling tools/materials all day.

Pay Details: $20.00 to $24.00 per hour
