Job Title: Furnace Operator

Location: Madison, AL

Schedule: 2-2-3 Shift (6:30 AM - 6:30 PM or 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM)

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Furnace Operator to join our team at (Your Company Name), a leader in the manufacturing of tungsten powder. The Furnace Operator will be responsible for operating and monitoring furnaces to ensure optimal production and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor furnace equipment according to established procedures.
  • Ensure safe and efficient production of tungsten powder.
  • Conduct regular inspections of equipment and materials.
  • Maintain accurate records of production and equipment performance.
  • Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the production process.
  • Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in furnace operation or related manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle physical tasks.
  • Excellent attention to detail and safety awareness.
  • Willingness to work a rotating shift schedule.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00
