Pediatrics Speech Language Pathologist (SLP/SLPA) Position w/ Benefits - Birmingham, AL

A school district near Birmingham, AL, is seeking a qualified Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) to work with elementary school students. This position offers guaranteed hours, a comprehensive benefits package, and competitive pay.

Qualifications:
  • Active SLP-CCC, CF, or SLPA license in Alabama
  • Preferred: Experience working as an SLP in a school setting
Position Overview:
  • Full-time: 37.5 guaranteed hours per week (part-time applicants will also be considered)
  • Duration: ASAP through May 2025
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of elementary students with mild to moderate physical and intellectual disabilities
  • Conduct evaluations and develop personalized therapy plans for students with communication and swallowing challenges
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to update students Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
