Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Mid-Level Business Analyst to join our team in Oak-brook Terrace, IL. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, documenting, and improving business processes while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver successful projects. The ideal candidate will have a blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and excellent communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Gather, document, and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.

  • Review and assess current business processes and workflows for improvement opportunities.

  • Develop and maintain detailed business process models and documentation.

  • Collaborate with IT teams to create functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new solutions.

  • Facilitate meetings and workshops to elicit requirements and provide project updates to stakeholders.

  • Identify and document project risks, issues, and opportunities for resolution.

  • Work closely with stakeholders to prioritize requirements, define project scope, and align with business goals.

  • Assist in the development and testing of new systems or system enhancements.

  • Provide user training and post-implementation support to ensure smooth transitions.

  • Participate in the evaluation and selection of software or systems that align with business objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field.

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

  • Proven experience with business process analysis and documentation.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.

  • Proficient in developing functional and technical specifications.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Ability to facilitate meetings and drive consensus among teams.

  • Familiarity with project management principles and tools is a plus.

  • Experience in supporting system development, implementation, and testing phases.

Additional Skills Preferred:

  • Knowledge of industry-standard business analysis frameworks and methodologies (e.g., BABOK).

  • Experience with workflow management tools or process modeling software.

  • Familiarity with agile project management methodologies.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Pay Details: $58.00 to $60.00 per hour
