DIRECT HIRE OPPORTUNITY

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to join our team. The Maintenance Mechanic will be responsible for maintaining and repairing machinery and equipment to ensure smooth operations.

Location

Solon, OH

Hours

2nd shift (3:30PM - 12:00AM)

Must have flexible hours to cover any call-offs or vacations; work weekends if necessary

Duties

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Communicate regularly with other managers, the director, vice president, president, and other designated contacts within the organization.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities, as assigned
  • Repair equipment and perform Preventative Maintenance in a timely manner
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
  • Notify when parts and supplies are needed or used
  • Understand and follow quality sign-off procedures
  • Understand and follow all safety procedures
  • Understand and follow all food safety and food quality issues and proper documentation whenever necessary
  • Know and follow all GMPs

Requirements

  • Must have own set of tools
  • Must be able to work from high elevation
  • 2+ years of experience required
  • TIG and MIG welding experience
  • Background and Drug Screen will be conducted

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $34.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Evening shift
  • Monday to Friday
  • Overtime
  • Rotating weekends
  • Weekends as needed

 

Experience:

 

  • Industrial Maintenance mechanic: 2 years (Preferred)
