Virtual Occupational Therapist (OT) | California

Are you a dedicated and licensed Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible part-time, remote opportunity? VocoVision is seeking a California-licensed OT to join our team immediately and provide vital therapy services to students. This role allows you to work from home while making a meaningful impact on students skills.

Job Details:

  • Position Type: Part-Time (Flexible hours)
  • Location: Fully Remote
  • Caseload: K-12 students
  • Contract Type: 1099
  • Pay Rate: $50-55 per hour, based on experience

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living skills.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide virtual therapy sessions using evidence-based practices.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals.
  • Monitor student progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.
  • Document therapy sessions and student progress accurately.
  • Guide teachers and staff on strategies for promoting student participation.
  • Stay current with best practices in occupational therapy and virtual education.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Current California licensure as an Occupational Therapist.
  • NBCOT certification.
  • School-based OT experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in virtual therapy platforms.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage caseload effectively.
