Description:

•Reporting to the Facility Technical Manager, the selected candidate will support all safety and quality assurance for production on 3rd shift. Direct liaison between production and the quality of our products.

•Taking on this position you will perform quality checks of raw materials, submit daily batch release reports and enter all quality assurance test results while keeping up with production. You will be working real time with production.

•Execute and adhere to all EHS requirement as well as maintain a safe work environment and follow internal safety rules and procedures including wearing proper, PPE as appropriate.

•Participates in the general housekeeping of plant and work area.

•Submits daily routine batch release report and immediately notifies all affected personnel of any rejected batch/ lot number prior to shipping to customer.

•Team player; volunteers to help where needed to get job done, and enhance skills.

•Works with some direction and supervision of Sr. Lab Technicians and the Facility Technical Manager

•Communicates all critical issues and problems concerning, QA, test equipment problems, schedule changes, and assignments to the Facility Technical Manager

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

•Will be supporting the Lab as well as helping out within the manufacturing environment as needed - MUST BE ABLE TO TRAIN ON 1ST shift for 1 MONTH - Occasional overtime will be required per the needs of the business

•High School diploma or GED + 2 year Community college or equivalent AA degree in chemistry or biochemistry, coupled with up to 12 months of and up to 12 months as a Quality laboratory Technician.

•Three + years of experience in Microsoft Office, Excel, Access, and Word is required.

•One + years of experience in a controlled lab environment. As Lab Technician, you will be fully engaged with our standards and will become a technology expert. You will work directly with timing of production and have the ability to be involved in multiple processes.
