Position: Physical Therapist

Location: Various school sites within the district

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Physical Therapist to join our team on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will provide high-quality therapy services to a diverse caseload of approximately 25 students ranging from PreK through 12th grade. The role will involve traveling to six school sites, with some sites located within 5-10 minutes of each other and others up to 25 minutes from the district or center office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized physical therapy services to students across multiple school sites.
  • Develop and implement effective therapy plans tailored to each student's needs.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student progress.
  • Document therapy sessions and track student progress accurately.
  • Adapt therapy techniques to address a wide range of developmental and physical challenges.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Physical Therapist license in Vermont, or willing to get.
  • Experience working with children in an educational or clinical setting.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to travel between multiple school sites within the district.
