Responsibilities:
Assessment and Intervention: Perform thorough psychological assessments to pinpoint student needs and devise effective intervention strategies in collaboration with educators and families.
Support Services: Offer crisis intervention, counseling, and support services to students, faculty, and families as necessary, fostering a safe and supportive school atmosphere.
Collaborative Partnerships: Work closely with school staff, parents, and community organizations to establish a robust network of resources and services aimed at enhancing students' academic and socio-emotional well-being.
Data Analysis: Gather and analyze data to assess the impact of interventions and programs, leveraging insights to guide decision-making and enhance student outcomes.

Professional Development: Stay abreast of the latest practices in school psychology through ongoing professional development endeavors, and contribute to the growth and advancement of the school community.
Qualifications:
Credentials: Hold a Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field, and possess a valid certification or license as a School Psychologist in Virginia.
Experience: Bring prior experience working within a school environment, and demonstrate proficiency in assessment, intervention, and consultation methodologies.
Communication Skills: Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse array of stakeholders.
Empathy and Cultural Competence: Exhibit empathy, cultural awareness, and sensitivity to the needs of students, families, and colleagues from various backgrounds.
Flexibility: Display adaptability and flexibility in your approach, and demonstrate resilience in navigating the challenges and opportunities within the school environment.
