Job Description

We are a leading provider of flow and energy measurement products, focusing on exceptional customer service and quality engineered instruments for hydronic heating and cooling systems. As part of a global collection of world-class flow meter companies, we produce flow meters and flow measurement solutions for various industrial and scientific industries. The Shipping Clerk performs a variety of shipping tasks, preparing items for outgoing shipments and ensuring all orders are filled correctly.

Responsibilities

• Generate and organize paperwork for shipments.
• Assemble and package installation kits to order.
• Prepare packing lists, bills of lading, express receipts, etc., within a shop-like environment.
• Communicate any incoming issues with orders to Customer Service.
• Monitor any quality issues and communicate them to management.
• Ensure that all daily shipping requirements are met.
• Perform any other duties or responsibilities as requested by management.

Essential Skills

• Experience in shipping and receiving.
• Proficiency in data entry.
• Experience with RF scanners.
• Knowledge of inventory control processes.
• Familiarity with UPS Worldship.
• Experience with LTL shipping and kitting.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with UPS/FedEx shipping software and protocols.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Oracle or SAP.
• Experience with material handling.

Work Environment

The position operates Monday through Friday from 9 am to 5:30 pm, with some potential for overtime. There is a preference for the ability to work every other Saturday for a few hours as needed. The work environment includes a shop-like setting, where attention to detail and adherence to shipping protocols are essential.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Largo, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
