Job DescriptionJob DescriptionLHH Recruitment Solutions is proud to collaborate with our distinguished client, a globally recognized non-profit organization based in Philadelphia, PA. This is a contract position expected to last 6 months.
 The available position is primarily remote, providing the flexibility to work from anywhere, with the requirement to attend in-person meetings at the Philadelphia headquarters once a month.
 
Location: Philadelphia, PA
Pay: $40-$55/hr.
 
Role Summary:
Tasked with the stewardship of diverse accounting operations, the Senior Accountant ensures the precision and reliability of financial records. This position is suited for a meticulous individual with extensive non-profit accounting background, adeptness in MS Dynamics 365, and an active CPA accreditation.
 
Principal Duties:
- Direct and administer all aspects of general ledger accounting, financial statements, and reconciliations.
- Uphold adherence to accounting norms, legal stipulations, and internal guidelines.
- Employ MS Dynamics 365 for the management, reporting, and examination of financial data.
- Craft and scrutinize financial reports, budget plans, and projections.
- Aid in the formulation and supervision of fiscal controls and procedures.
- Facilitate and contribute to yearly audits, preparing requisite files and timetables.
- Engage collaboratively with various teams to augment financial understanding and bolster strategic goals.
- Record and validate all financial dealings, ensuring punctual and precise financial disclosures.
 
Candidate Profile:
 - Must possess a valid Certified Public Accountant (CPA) credential.
- Holds a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a similar discipline (Master’s degree preferred).
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting, with a focus on non-profit organizations for at least 2 years.
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 or MS Business Central.
- In-depth knowledge of non-profit accounting standards and procedures.
- Exceptional analytical, organizational, and problem-solving aptitudes.
- Acute attention to detail with the capacity to meet stringent deadlines.
- Outstanding communicative and interpersonal prowess.

Pay Details: $40.00 to $55.00 per hour
