Located in Rock Hill, SC

$18.36 with potential to make in the $20s after first year

Description:

  • Previews job order specifications and inspects mounted photopolymer plates, solvent based, water based or UV inks, substrates and job specification information.
  • Mixes ink and installs inks into pans or chambers, installs substrates and printing plates into press. Splices rolls to press and adjusts ink color chemistry to achieve desired specification.
  • Sets up and loads proper film stock into press.
  • Sets up printing press to achieve “run/start” status and approval from QC.
  • Begins run, adjusting speed, tension, and alignment of print plates as necessary.
  • Monitors the quality of printed materials and color match during the full production of the order.
  • Cuts sample of printed material from end of printed roll and inspects for defects and documents results.
  • Lubricates and oils the press as needed.
  • Maintains a neat and orderly work area throughout the shift. Cleans the equipment at the end of the shift per prescribed procedures.
  • Minimizes waste by efficiently performing set-up, press layout, registrations and color regularly.
  • Participates in the changeover process, moving from one order to the next.
  • Adheres to GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) standards set in place by the FDA at all times while on the production floor.

  • Lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs
  • Differentiate Colors
  • Basic Math (Add, Subtract, Multiply, Divide)
  • Read a ruler or tape measurer to 1/32 of an inch
  • Will need a High School or GED
