Description

Resource will provide W10-Hardware Deskside/Network Support to remote field locations. We need a trusted and responsible resource that can work with little or no supervision to support these remote sites.
Technician Requirementss:
Day to Day support—of end users—customer service
1 to 3 years+ of 100 % day to day Deskside (Hands on support) experience in a corporate environment (any where in that experience range 1 to 3 years)
7/Window OS and MS office support experience
W7 Client Networking support
Desktop/Laptop Installation/de-installation experience
Desktop/Laptop hardware support
A+/N+/MCP or and technical certifications are a huge bonus. If not certifications, Desktop/Laptop Networking support

The manager will not tolerate any technician sitting around and waiting for something to do. This person must be experience and be self motivated as they will be working alone.
If the technician reports at 8:00, he or she needs to find something to do or ask someone ?what can I do? until he or she receives something to do.
If any technician is caught ?sitting? around, they will be released immediately.
Technicians must be proactive everyday.

Customer impact
By providing local Desktop Support technicians, we will not need to travel a resource to work on site from other locations and save on hotel/travel costs.

By providing local Desktop Support resources, they will continue to provide on-site desktop/LAN support to local users and meet their Service Level expectations with open tickets.

Business Challenge

Business Client issue-
While they continues to consolidate the number of Insurance Operations Centers around the country, they must continue to provide local desktop support resources to support the number of end users at these locations.
They signed a new 7 year contract with an Insurance to provide Network/Desktop support at all field locations in North America. They utilize contract desktop field resources in most markets. This position is a new support position that they are taking over.
