We are offering a contract employment opportunity for an IT Auditor in Woodbridge, New Jersey. This role primarily focuses on auditing air-gapped infrastructures within the cybersecurity industry. The IT Auditor will be responsible for evaluating IT controls, identifying vulnerabilities, and recommending security enhancements.


Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute audit plans for air-gapped infrastructures.

• Conduct detailed evaluations of risk assessments and control.

• Maintain the integrity of physical and logical access controls, data, and network segmentation.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.

• Evaluate adherence to cybersecurity frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001.

• Identify vulnerabilities and provide mitigation recommendations.

• Prepare and present audit reports with findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.

• Collaborate with IT and security teams to develop remediation plans.

• Keep abreast of emerging threats and best practices in the cybersecurity industry.

• Enhance audit methodologies and tools and mentor team members on air-gapped infrastructure audits.


Skills:

• Knowledge of Archer, Audit Program, Business systems, and CobiT.

• Experience with ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.

• Proficiency in Application controls, Audit Findings, and Auditing.

• Familiarity with Compliance, Documentation, and Critical infrastructure

• Possess proficiency in Archer and CobiT frameworks.
• Demonstrable knowledge of Business systems and ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning.
• Have experience in developing and executing Audit Programs.
• Capable of understanding and evaluating Application controls.
• Proven ability to document, analyze and present Audit Findings with clarity.
• Experience in performing Auditing tasks in a business environment.
• Familiarity with Compliance protocols and standards.
• Excellent Documentation skills to record all audit processes and findings.
• Knowledge of Critical infrastructure in the IT sector.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science or related field.
• Relevant certification in IT auditing or related field would be preferred.
• Display an analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Possess a keen eye for details and anomalies.
• Ability to handle confidential information responsibly.
• Display strong ethical standards and high levels of integrity.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to changes in the work environment.
• Experience in using Microsoft Office suite.
