Job Description

Candidates will follow set and strict procedures for issuing parts from inventory for work-in-process orders, material usage, and for shipping product to customers. Candidates will pick material and identify shortages affecting production schedules as well as identify and reconcile inventory to help eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime. They will also need to recognize the various types of material receipts at the dock, sort by type, and deliver to the appropriate location.

Shift: 8am-4:30pm OR 11am-7:30pm

Responsibilities
  • Issue parts from inventory for work-in-process orders and material usage
  • Pick material and identify shortages affecting production schedules
  • Identify and reconcile inventory to help eliminate extra costs and minimize manufacturing downtime
  • Recognize various types of material receipts at the dock, sort by type, and deliver to the appropriate location
  • Lifting materials up to 30 lbs
  • Handle materials, pack, pick, and use RF scanner
  • Perform order picking and pulling
  • Maintain inventory control
Essential Skills
  • Experience with high volume DC (3,000 lines per day) or automated DC
  • Knowledge of ERP systems
  • Experience with RF scanning
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Experience with inventory transactions
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Forklift experience (optional)

Work Environment

The work environment is a climate-controlled warehouse with a strong team-oriented culture. Employees are expected to be flexible and assist in various departments as needed. Shifts available are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM or 11:00 AM to 7:30 PM.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of The Colony, Texas.

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $17.50
