Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and skilled dietary specialists to join our food service team in a hospital environment. This role involves preparing and serving food, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook meals following dietary guidelines.
  • Work on the tray line to ensure accurate and timely meal delivery.
  • Wash dishes and maintain cleanliness of the kitchen area.
  • Perform janitorial duties to keep the food preparation areas sanitary.
  • Assist in food preparation and kitchen work.
  • Ensure food safety standards are adhered to at all times.
Essential Skills
  • Experience in food preparation and cooking.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards.
  • Ability to work on a tray line and handle food service duties.
  • Proficiency in dishwashing and janitorial tasks.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a cook, cashier, or tray passer.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.

Work Environment

The work is set in a hospital environment where maintaining hygiene and adhering to dietary guidelines is critical. Employees must follow specific dress code requirements: no nail polish or fake nails, no airpods or headphones, no cellphones, must wear a belt and keep pants up from sagging, must wear a hairnet, and no chewing gum.
