Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Permanent Procurement Manager who is fluent in Mandarin Chinese. The ideal candidate should be an expert in non-perishable goods procurement with a solid background in supplier performance evaluation and SAP. This role will involve managing and optimizing procurement processes, ensuring the best quality and cost-effectiveness, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage the procurement of non-perishable goods, ensuring the best quality and cost-effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with the company's business goals.
  • Evaluate and manage supplier performance to ensure compliance with company standards and contractual agreements.
  • Negotiate contracts and terms with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
  • Utilize SAP software for procurement processes, including order processing, inventory management, and supplier management.
  • Conduct market research to identify new potential suppliers and keep up-to-date with industry trends.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to forecast demand and establish procurement schedules.
  • Manage and resolve any issues related to procurement, such as delivery delays or quality issues.
  • Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures, as well as applicable laws and regulations.
  • Foster and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring clear communication and mutual understanding.
  • Conduct regular supplier performance evaluations to assess their capability, delivery performance, and compliance.
  • Lead, manage, and develop the procurement team to achieve departmental goals.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement, specifically with non-perishable goods.
  • Proficiency in Mandarin Chinese, both written and spoken.
  • Strong experience in supplier performance evaluation.
  • Proficiency in SAP or similar ERP system.
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to manage complex contracts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics and sound business judgement.
  • Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle complex procurement issues.
  • Knowledge of procurement regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
