Job Title:School Psychologist
Location: Taunton, MA area
Job Description:
Soliant is seeking a dedicated and experienced School Psychologist to join our team for the 24-25 school year. The ideal candidate will be mitted to enhancing the educational experience of students through effective assessment, intervention, and collaboration with educators and parents.
Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students to determine eligibility for special education services.
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other professionals.
  • Provide direct counseling services to students, addressing social, emotional, and behavioral concerns.
  • Consult with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop strategies for improving student outes.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student progress and make remendations for services and interventions.
  • Conduct crisis intervention and provide support during emergencies.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation in pliance with school policies and state regulations.

Qualifications:

  • Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Valid Massachusetts state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist.
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting preferred.
  • Strong assessment, counseling, and intervention skills.
  • Excellent munication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of federal and state regulations related to special education.

State Licensure Requirements:

  • Candidates must possess or be eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist in the state of Massachusetts.
