Job Description

  • Full time
  • M-F
  • 30 hours per week
  • Schedule is typically 7:30-2:00pm but can vary based on what room candidate is placed in
  • Group setting/classroom aide role - will be working in a classroom with 7-8 students all in special education.
    • 2 other paraprofessionals and teacher onsite for support
    • Everyone will work in a rotation to attend to all the students' needs in the classroom
  • Toileting and diapering will be required
  • No interview will be required - just a prescreen with your recruiter
  • Pay: $22/hour
  • This is an excellent position for someone just starting out working in the field of special education and with room to grow in career
  • In-person position only

Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Comfortable with toileting and feeding assistance
  • Experience working with Special Education populations is a plus
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and other school staff
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Reliable Transportation
  • Pass a drug test and a background check

Interview Process

  • 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter
  • 20-30 minute virtual/in-person interview with district
  • Offer is typically within 24 hours ofinterview

As a ProCare employee, you will be paid on a weekly basis through direct deposit. Your hourly rate will be dependent upon your experience and education.
