School Psychologist | Glendale Heights

Location:Glendale Heights, IL
Caseload: K-8, more specifics will be given during interview
Duration:2024/2025 School Year, Full Time (30+ hours a week)

Position Overview

  • This is a full-time, in-person role.
  • Requires a Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Must hold state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist.
  • Utilize your expertise in psychological assessment tools, intervention strategies, and special education regulations.
  • Apply your strong knowledge of child development, learning disabilities, and mental health issues impacting students.
  • Collaborate effectively with students, parents, teachers, and administrators using your excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Preferred: experience in a school setting.
  • Commitment to cultural competence and delivering equitable services to a diverse student population is essential.

Job Requirements

  • A Masters degree in School Psychology is required.
  • School Psychologist Licensure is mandatory.
  • Must successfully pass a drug and background check.

Interview Process

  • Begin with a brief 10-15 minute screening call with a ProCare Recruiter.
  • Participate in a 20-30 minute virtual or in-person interview with the school district.
  • Expect a job offer within 24 hours of the virtual interview.
