Description:

We are looking for a passionate and skilled Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) to support a high school student with a mild cognitive disability in Forest Lake, MN. This 1:1 position offers a unique opportunity to work closely with a wonderful student who is eager to learn and engage. The student is a pleasure to work with, showing enthusiasm and curiosity that make each day fulfilling. Your role will be instrumental in facilitating effective munication, enhancing their learning experience, and helping them thrive academically and socially.

Requirements:

  • Must hold a valid Minnesota Interpreter Certification.
  • A minimum score of 3.5 on the Educational Interpreter Performance Assessment (EIPA) or RID certification is required.
  • Experience working with students with cognitive disabilities is preferred but not mandatory.
