Position: Behavior Technician
Location:Chico, CA

Position Details:
  • Job Type: Full-Time, Monday - Friday
  • Schedule: 32 37.5 hours per week
  • Duration: 2024/2025 School Year

We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Behavior Technician to join our team in Redding, CA. This position involves working closely with students to implement behavior strategies, foster positive interactions, and support their overall classroom success. Youll collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create an inclusive and welcoming learning environment for students with diverse needs.

Key Duties:
  • Follow behavior intervention plans (BIPs) designed by a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
  • Work directly with students to encourage positive behaviors and support skill development.
  • Assist teachers in managing classroom behavior and maintaining a structured environment.
  • Track and document behavioral data to measure progress and modify plans as necessary.
  • Facilitate students growth in social, emotional, and communication skills.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide comprehensive student support.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required (Associates or Bachelors degree preferred).
  • Experience working with children or individuals with special needs is a strong advantage.
  • RBT (Registered Behavior Technician) certification is a plus but not mandatory; training can be provided.
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • A positive attitude, adaptability, and a genuine desire to help students succeed.
