Job Title: School Psychologist

Location: Atherton, CA

Job Description: We are seeking a School Psychologist to join our district in Atherton, CA, for the 2024-2025 school year. This full-time position entails working throughout the entire school year with a high school caseload. The School Psychologist will primarily conduct assessments and provide counseling services to students, with a preference for bilingual proficiency.

Educational Requirements:

• Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Completion of a supervised internship in school psychology.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' academic abilities, emotional health, and behavioral issues.
• Administer standardized tests and interpret results to determine eligibility for special education services.
• Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) based on assessment findings.
• Provide counseling and therapeutic interventions to support students' social-emotional development.
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create a supportive learning environment for students.
• Attend IEP meetings and contribute assessment findings and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and progress monitoring.

Certifications:

• State licensure or certification as a School Psychologist in Illinois.
• Bilingual proficiency preferred.

Additional Details:

• Open to new graduates, but prefer candidates with experience.
