Job Description

We are seeking experienced Forklift (Reach Truck/Stand-Up) Operators to work in a cold storage environment. The warehouse operates at approximately 34 degrees, and the freezer area is maintained at 4 degrees. Cold suits and gear are provided on the first day. The role involves picking orders in the warehouse using a computer screen on the forklift, loading pallets, and preparing them for shipment. Comfort with operating a tablet/computer and excellent attendance, especially during the training period, are essential.

Responsibilities
  • Operate Reach Truck/Stand-Up Forklift in a cold storage environment.
  • Pick orders based on computer screen instructions on the forklift.
  • Load pallets and prepare them for shipment.
  • Ensure comfort with using a tablet/computer for order picking.
  • Maintain excellent attendance, particularly during the training period.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with Reach Truck, Stand-Up Forklift, and other forklift types.
  • Familiarity with inventory management and material handling.
  • Skills in order picking, loading, packing, shipping, and receiving.
  • Experience in warehouse or manufacturing settings.
  • Ability to use RF scanners and order selectors.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Experience as a warehouse worker, order selector, or order picker.
  • Comfortable working in cold storage environments.

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00
