Telehealth Occupational Therapist (OT) for Schools South Dakota

Are you a South Dakota-licensed Occupational Therapist looking for a flexible, remote opportunity in teletherapy? VocoVision is seeking a passionate OT to provide vital therapy services to students in a virtual school setting. This role allows you to make a positive impact on students' lives from your own home, with a flexible, part-time schedule that fits your lifestyle.

Position Overview:

  • Position: Telehealth Occupational Therapist (South Dakota Licensed)
  • Schedule: Part-Time, Flexible Hours
  • Location: 100% Remote
  • Caseload: K-12 students
  • Contract Type: 1099

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct virtual assessments of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional needs.
  • Design individualized treatment plans and set meaningful goals for each student.
  • Deliver engaging, evidence-based virtual therapy sessions.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and school staff to support students success.
  • Monitor and document each students progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records for all sessions and ensure compliance with school and therapy standards.
  • Provide guidance and consultation to educators on strategies to enhance student participation.
  • Stay updated with best practices in telehealth and occupational therapy.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree (or higher) in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
  • Active South Dakota OT license.
  • NBCOT certification.
  • Experience in school-based OT is a plus.
  • Familiarity with virtual therapy platforms and digital tools.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and organize caseload.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality support for students of diverse backgrounds.
