CFS Agent

About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented CFS (Container Freight Station) Agent to join our dynamic team. The CFS Agent will play a critical role in managing the consolidation and deconsolidation of less-than-container load (LCL) shipments, ensuring seamless transitions for the next leg of their journey. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced logistics environment and is committed to operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Shipment Consolidation: Combine individual LCL shipments into full container loads (FCL) to prepare for vessel loading.
• Shipment Deconsolidation: Separate FCL shipments into individual LCL shipments for final delivery.
• Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with customs and transportation regulations.
• Coordinate with transportation hubs, such as ocean ports and terminals, to facilitate smooth logistics operations.
• Monitor and track shipment progress, addressing any delays or discrepancies promptly.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to maintain efficient workflows and high service levels.

Qualifications:

• Experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Familiarity with container freight station operations and LCL/FCL processes is a plus.
• Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
