We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team in Lodi, CA, to make a positive impact on students lives and their educational outcomes.
Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver speech and language therapy services to K-12 students. In this role, you will assess, diagnose, and treat communication disorders, providing essential support to enhance students academic and social development.
Core Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and Assess: Perform comprehensive assessments of speech, language, and communication skills to determine students needs.
- Develop Therapy Plans: Design individualized therapy plans and set appropriate goals in collaboration with other staff members.
- Provide Direct Therapy: Administer targeted speech-language therapy to address articulation, language comprehension, fluency, and other communication issues.
- Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with educators, special education personnel, and parents to ensure speech strategies are embedded into classroom practices.
- Track Progress: Monitor students progress, adjust therapy plans as needed, and maintain up-to-date documentation for reports and meetings.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Actively engage in IEP team meetings to discuss goals and progress, adjusting strategies as required.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution.
- Licensure: Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain.
- Certification: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Experience: Prior experience working with school-aged children or in educational settings is a plus.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, with a collaborative mindset for working in multidisciplinary teams.
