Join Us as a Special Education Teacher in Plymouth

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time position in Plymouth, Massachusetts. This is an exciting opportunity for an educator passionate about supporting students with special needs and making a real difference in their lives. The position offers competitive pay ($35-$45 per hour) and a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, vision, dental, and 401K. You'll also receive continuous support from a ProCare Therapy recruiter throughout the school year to ensure you thrive in your role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet the unique needs of each student
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, administrators, and parents to foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Adapt and deliver lesson plans that meet the diverse learning needs of students and align with state standards
  • Track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, students, and school staff
  • Cultivate a classroom atmosphere where all students feel supported and encouraged to succeed
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a valid Massachusetts teaching license in Special Education
  • Possess a Moderate Disabilities PreK-8 or Moderate Disabilities 5-12 certification, depending on grade level
  • Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in Special Education or a related field
  • Strong commitment to working with students with disabilities and diverse learning needs
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
