What You'll Be Doing:

  • Troubleshooting and Repairing: Work on a variety of chemical mixing equipment such as grinders/mills, rotary equipment, conveyors, vacuum systems, pumps, and motors.
  • Maintenance: Perform reactive maintenance on 1st shift and preventative maintenance on 2nd shift.
  • Machinery Upkeep: Clean, lubricate, or adjust functional parts of machinery and control instruments.
  • Blueprint Reading: Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and engineered drawings.
  • Facility Maintenance: Perform general upkeep tasks and empty dust collection units as needed.
  • Tool Handling: Use your skills to change dies in milling/cutting machines for different production jobs.

Essential Skills We're Looking For:

  • Maintenance Mechanic Background: Strong experience in maintaining mechanical systems.
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics: Expertise in repairing and installing these systems.
  • Blueprint Reading: Proficient in reading and interpreting technical blueprints and electrical schematics.
  • Tool Proficiency: Must have experience using various tools and equipment.
  • Conveyor and Belt Maintenance: Experience in maintaining and troubleshooting these systems.

Additional Skills That Make You Stand Out:

  • Welding Skills: Proficient in Mig or Tig welding.
  • Heavy Equipment Maintenance: Experience with tow motors or heavy equipment.
  • Foundry Experience: Previous experience in a foundry environment is a plus.
  • Auto Mechanics: Open to auto mechanics with some electrical experience.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Strong skills in preventive and industrial maintenance, troubleshooting, and welding.

Work Environment:

  • Work in a dynamic environment manufacturing chemical additives for various industries, primarily rubber production. Some areas may be dusty, but respirators/face masks are not required.

  • This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cleveland, Ohio.
