School Social Worker - Michigan

Position Overview: The selected Social Worker will work remotely and receive comprehensive software, training, and IT support.


Requirements:

  • MI Social Worker License

  • Masters degree in social work

  • MI Teaching Certificate

  • 310 License

Job Type:

  • Full - Time

  • 1099 Contract

  • Immediate Start through End of School Year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain minutes for Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and manage 504 plans.

  • Provide direct casework, service coordination, and crisis intervention services to students, families, and school staff.

  • Offer crisis intervention support for issues affecting student attendance, adjustment, or the overall school environment.

  • Act as a consultant and resource for schools on matters related to attendance, student adjustment, and school climate.

  • Primarily focused on mental health counseling.
