PV1 Pharmacist

Are you a retail pharmacist looking to transition into a rewarding new setting? We are seeking a dedicated PV1 Long Term Care Pharmacist to join our team in a closed-door pharmacy. This role offers you the chance to leverage your retail experience while expanding your skills in a vital area of patient care.

In this position, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medications for long-term care residents. You'll have the opportunity to municate directly with medical professionals and make a meaningful impact on patient health outes.

Location: Closed-Door LTC Pharmacy, Washington, NC
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Duration: 13 weeks, with potential for contract-to-hire
Shift: Must be available for rotating weekends; Monday - Friday 9 AM - 6 PM, rotating Saturdays 8:30 AM - 5 PM
pensation: $60-65/hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and check medication orders for accuracy and pliance.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage high-volume production workflows.
• municate effectively with medical professionals regarding medication orders and changes.
• Conduct thorough drug reviews and assessments as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

• Must be a team player with a strong ability to multi-task.
• Retail pharmacists eager to transition into a long-term care environment are encouraged to apply.
• Experience in long-term care is preferred but not required.
• Strong munication skills and experience discussing medication changes with providers are essential.
• Must hold a valid North Carolina pharmacist license.
