Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Controls Technician to join our team. You will be responsible for installing, wiring, and troubleshooting up to 480v motors and other electrical components, as well as working heavily with sensors, proximity switches, relays, and PLCs. Your role will ensure the smooth operation of our machinery and control systems.

Responsibilities
  • Install and wire control panels for new machinery.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical components to ensure machine functionality.
  • Install, wire, and troubleshoot PLCs.
  • Work with sensors, proximity switches, and relays.
  • Interlock PLCs on new machinery.
  • Ensure all electrical installations are up to 480v.
Essential Skills
  • Experience with electrical systems up to 480v.
  • Proficiency in wiring control panels.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control systems and electrical components.
  • Knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and ladder logic.
  • Experience with sensors, proximity switches, and relays.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Some PLC programming experience.
  • Familiarity with working in a climate-controlled, clean, and automated environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00
