Job Description

Located in Delaware, we are looking for full-time Production Associates to join our expanding team. Due to increased success over the past few years, we are expanding our production, particularly in the Wall Panel division, and require additional headcount to fulfill customer orders.

Responsibilities
  • Construction of wood-framed wall panels.
  • Assembly of Open-Web Trusses.
  • Setup and operation of machinery, such as a punch press, pinner, gluer, and drill.
  • Setup and use of various tools such as circular saws, nail guns, and staple guns.
  • Assembly of various construction accessories for comprehensive framing packages.
  • Reading product design paperwork and plans.
  • Inputting information into computers to track material and work orders.
  • Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Walk and/or stand for prolonged periods.

Essential Skills
  • Comfortable working with a tape measure often throughout an 8-10 hour shift.
  • Mechanical aptitude: comprehension and experience solving/fixing/repairing mechanical equipment, machinery, vehicles, aircraft, or housing-residential.
  • Proven ability and experience using hand and power tools.

Work Environment

Our work environment involves wood processing and manufacturing operations. Employees may be occasionally exposed to outside weather conditions, including variations in temperature and precipitation. Most of our work is done in non-climate controlled environments. The worksite consists of multiple production buildings, with roughly 100 employees across one shift, and plans to add a second shift in the near future. The work floor includes Production, Engineering, Quality, and Fabrication departments, as well as warehouses for shipping, receiving, and material storage. Some buildings are climate-controlled, while most of the production floor is not. Dock doors are often open for shipments, and the environment includes material handling equipment and production machinery.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Delaware, Ohio.
