Now Hiring: School-Based Registered Behavior Technician for 2024-2025 Academic Year
Location:San Jose, CA
Pay:$45+/hour - Based on Experience
Company: ProCare Therapy
Position Type: Full-time
Responsibilities:
- Implement behavior intervention plans and strategies developed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to assist students confronting behavioral hurdles.
- Collect data on student behavior and progress towards individualized objectives.
- Provide direct support and instruction to students in accordance with their Individualized Education Plans (IEPs).
- Cultivate collaboration with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure consistency and effectiveness of behavior interventions across various environments.
- Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and professional development activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Education, or related field preferred.
- Valid Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification.
- Previous experience working with children or adolescents with autism or behavioral disorders preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.
