Are you a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) with a passion for providing exceptional care to patients in their homes? Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Home Health RN for a rewarding 13-week contract assignment in the charming town of Delco, NC.

Job Details:

  • Hiring Company: Sunbelt Staffing

  • Duration: 13-week contract
  • Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8am-5pm with occasional weekends and on-call duties (typically once per month)
  • Pay: Negotiable based on territory budget.
  • Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401k after 90 days
  • Mileage Reimbursement: Provided

Job Duties:

  • Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and develop individualized care plans.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and procedures as prescribed.
  • Educate patients and families on care techniques and health management.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity of care.
  • Document patient care and progress in Homecare Homebase.
  • Participate in on-call rotation and occasional weekend shifts.

Job Requirements:

  • Active North CarolinaRN license.
  • Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Minimum of 1 year of home health experience required.
  • Proficiency in Homecare Homebase.
  • Proficiency in Oasis.
  • Reliable transportation for patient visits.
  • Completion of Joint Commission onboarding upon offer.

Location Details: Delco, North Carolina is a small, unincorporated community located in Columbus County, roughly 20 miles west of Wilmington. Known for its rural charm, Delco is historically rooted in agriculture and timber, reflecting the broader character of the southeastern region of the state. The community's landscape is dotted with small farms, forested areas, and local businesses that serve the residents. Delco is situated along U.S. Route 74/76, making it a convenient passageway for travelers heading to and from the coast. The community embodies a quiet, close-knit atmosphere typical of many small towns in North Carolina.

Note: Due to this position being a contract role, the client will only consider candidates with previous home health experience, and candidates that are proficient in Oasis and Homecare Homebase.
