Job Details:
- 1st Shift 6 AM to 2:30 PM $19/HR
- Located in Miramar
Description:
- Perform all work in accordance with Standard work outline
- Assemble car locks daily dependent on hour by hour schedule
- Navigate through kits provided to assemble each build
- Performs all work in a safe manner, to include proper use of personal protective equipment.
- Follows Specification of inspections as noted
- Dimensionally checks and tests production to insure assembled output meets requirements per AQL standards
- Utilizes properly calibrated precision measuring instruments such as calipers, depth gages, thread gages, pin gages, and other measuring tools.
- Informs the Team Leader of any operating / material / parts condition that would interfere with quality / quantity production, and takes / coordinates approved actions to resolve the problem(s).
- Performs operator maintenance & operational checks on all departmental tools & equipment.
- The Assembler-I segregates and periodically disposes of scrap / recycled material into approved collection containers.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience doing assembly; emphasis on mechanical - must have
- Experience using basic hand tools - must have
- Must be able to stand for 8 hours
- Good communications skills and attention to detail are required for this position
- Ability to follow S.O.P’s and work safely
- Ability to read and write to comply with written instructions and complete departmental paperwork
