MEDICAID ASSISTANT

- Scan Medicaid dept. mail (including 5 years of statements) save to AS, give physical copies to specialist
- Save Medicaid faxes received to AS
- Execute (mail/fax/email/portal) records requests + save to AS
- Follow up on records requests, as needed.
- Forward insurance correspondence/etc. to client via mail
- Notarize authorizations, confirm all docs are scanned in, and file original files when opened
- Trim statements, upload to Ocrolus, share with specialist
- Handle/follow up on all redets (not immediately doing this, long-term goal)
- Be trained on/assist as needed with records requests (urgent/emergency situations)
- Assist with backlog of final scan & shreds. Eventually, may be able to take over this process
- Assist with main line calls
- Assist with intake calls
- Help organize old files in AS, either files from TM which were never sorted or disorganized files from old employees
