Job Details:

  • Onsite assignment near Brisbane, CA
  • Pay Range: $38+/hr (depending on experience)
  • Full 2024-2024 School Year
  • Full Time position
  • Open to a candidate that can take on at least 24 hours/week
  • ASAP Start - June 2025
  • PreK-12th grade caseload, exact size/ages TBD
  • MUST have Mod/Severe experience
  • 1 or multiple school sites (mileage can be reimbursed between sites)
  • More caseload/positiondetails to be provided during zoom interview process

Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Occupational Therapist in evaluating and treating students with special needs
  • Implement treatment plans in collaboration with the Occupational Therapist
  • Help students develop skills for daily living and educational activities
  • Document student progress and communicate with teachers, parents, and other professionals
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Plan) meetings and provide input regarding therapy goals
  • Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities

Qualifications:

  • Associate or Bachelor'sdegree in Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • California StateState licensure as an Occupational Therapist Assistant
  • Prior experience working with children with special needs in a school or clinical setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and adaptive equipment is a plus
