Onin Staffing is looking for a Hardware Equipment Assembly Tech in the Morrisville, NC area. The Hardware Equipment Assembly Tech focuses more explicitly on assembling and maintaining hardware systems.


  • Pay rate: $22.00-26.29/hr.
  • 1st shift.
  • Monday to Friday.
  • Year contract.

What you'll do as: Hardware Equipment Assembly Tech

  • Assemble systems using the received hardware.
  • Configure systems, including updating firmware.
  • Install and set up operating systems.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot hardware as needed.
  • Understand all of the various hardware required for new systems.
  • Review PowerPoint charts and other collateral to work with various teams to determine what parts need to be ordered.
  • Coordinate with teams to place hardware orders.
  • Track and monitor hardware orders and their arrival.
  • Receive and verify hardware deliveries.


Work Experience

The preferred candidate might:

  • 3-5 years of hardware assembly experience.
  • Experience with Linux systems.
  • Experience in hardware product development.
  • Instrumenting computer equipment.
  • Associate's degree or equivalent work experience.
